The Bible is full of supports for that idea, ranging from the one here to the fact that, when Jesus talked about God, He said “Our Father.” Ours. Let’s think about how that concept differs from the “I’m special and you’re not” concept that folks sometimes encounter in contemporary spiritual pursuits. We have no hierarchy. No intermediaries. No ascended masters or special talismans. No hidden teachings or secret knocks. There’s just “Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27, NASB).”
